Pla Neung Manaosteamed fish with a hint of lime
Pla Neung Manao
(steamed fish with lime)
This succulent, gently-steamed sea bass will fall apart in your mouth.
It is a fantastic aromatic Thai steamed fish dish.
The mild hint of lime and chilli are a subtle contrast to the fresh natural taste of the fish.
This dish cannot be kept so make sure the plate is empty when you finish your meal. I’d be surprised if you didn’t!
In Thailand this dish is usually cooked with the whole fish barramundi or tilapia, if these are not available then other mild-flavoured fish such as sea bass is a great alternative.
The flavours give a slightly sweet & sour and spicy taste, with lots of fresh lime juice, chillies and garlic to tantalise your taste buds.
We use sea bass fillets unless tilapia is available, garnished with coriander, chilli and pieces of sliced lime.

What People are Saying
“I turned up as I was working away, the man said it would be an hour wait and then texted me a sooner time as I asked if it was possible. The food was unreal, exactly like Thailand. Excellent service.” Jordan
“Food was so fresh and tasty with good portions no faults whatsoever. You might look at the prices and think it’s expensive for a takeaway but you get what you pay for. Wagga mammas is one of my favourite restaurants but ain’t a scratch on this place”
