Pad Thai ผัดไทย

If you’ve been to Thailand, you’ll have eaten Pad Thai, the ultimate street food, and the most famous of all Thai noodle dishes.

This dish is so versatile that you can add either prawns, chicken, pork, tofu, or just vegetables and they all taste fantastic.

Squeeze fresh lime and sprinkle ground peanuts over the top. Then dig in, with chopsticks or fork, and enjoy yourself.

What is Pad Thai?

It is a noodle stir fry dish with a sweet, savoury-sour tamarind sauce. We make our own sauce which gives our dish that unique taste.

It is traditionally made with thin rice noodles, chicken, beef or tofu, scrambled egg, spring onions, and bean sprouts, among other vegetables. Our most popular version is with those lovely juicy king prawns.

What is in Pad Thai sauce?

We can’t tell you that, except that it is homemade. Amporn has her own secret recipe. It does contain tamarind though, as all Pad Thai sauce should.
