HOW TO ORDER A TAKEAWAY
  • Please call 07768 808249 / SMS / Email
  • Please include your mobile telephone number, email address, and car registration number.
  • We will give you a time for collection & send a link to your phone for payment.
  • Drive up, collect, drive home and enjoy your meal.

WHEN CAN I ORDER A TAKEAWAY?

You can order a takeaway anytime from Tuesday by phone, text, or email
It is advisable to pre-book for Friday and Saturday, as we are extremely busy at weekend.

Our takeaway is situated at Dockray Hall Mill,  on the northern edge of Kendal, the postcode is LA9 4RU

WHEN ARE YOU OPEN?

We are open for four days: Wednesday to Saturday from 5-9pm.
Closed Sunday, Monday and Tuesday

DO YOU DELIVER?

Sorry, we do not deliver. We want your food to be the best possible, straight from the wok, no waiting for delivery.
As we developed our ‘drive-thru’ takeaway during the summer of 2020 we made the decision to run this as a collection-only operation and we have found that this works best, for our customers, and for us.
It may change in the future, but for now, we are collection only.

IS YOUR TAKEAWAY COVID SAFE?

Yes, it is. During COVID-19 we are operating a ZERO CONTACT ‘Drive-Thru’ system. To reach our takeaway you can drive or walk. When you arrive we will bring out your order to you, for you to take home and enjoy your meal.
There is no access into the premises. Your food will be brought out to you and placed on a table using social distancing for you to collect.

WHAT COVID-SAFE PROCEDURES DO YOU USE?
What you can expect during your visit:
  • Staff required to regularly wash hands
  • All staff wear masks while cooking and packing food
  • Masks are worn when bringing out your food
  • Contactless ordering
  • Contactless payment
  • Paid stay-at-home policy for staff with symptoms
  • Our staff are COVID tested each week.
ARE THE PREMISES COVID SECURE?

Yes, we incorporate all the government guidelines on COVID safety for our staff and customers.
Our staff regularly wash their hands and sanitisers are used before handling packaging.
Our takeaway has operated a ‘ZERO CONTACT’ (DRIVE-THRU’) system since the first days of lockdown in March, in order to keep our staff and customers secure and safe.

IS THAI FOOD SPICY?

It is a misconception that Thai food is spicy.
Thai food is fresh, full of flavour, and healthy. True, there are some dishes that are best eaten as intended with a ‘bit of a kick’ such as pad krapow, tom yum soup, and pad pet, but most Thai dishes are a delight and colourful.
We will cook your dish as you wish, even dishes that are traditionally spicy, like jungle curry and green curry, can be cooked milder to suit your palate.

ALLERGIES & DIETARY REQUIREMENTS

We try to cater for all allergies and dietary requirements. Please mention or include a note about this when you order.
If there are people with allergies and dietary requirements in your group, then we can cook separate dishes for them.
However, we cannot guarantee the complete absence of all allergens in our kitchen as we use a variety of ingredients while cooking.

Yes, we cater for vegetarians and vegans. Please request this when you order.

HOW CAN I LEAVE A REVIEW?

ARE YOU ECO-FRIENDLY?

Yes, we aim to use bio-degrable and bio-compostable packing wherever possible.
We did stop using paper bags for packaging as we found that the bag would disintegrate with leakage and so changed to bio-degradable carrier bags.
Our curry dishes are placed in recyclable plastic containers, again because of leakage, everything else goes into bio-compostable cardboard containers.
We had to find a fine balancing act between being fully sustainable whilst also being efficient in providing a service to our customers.

ARE YOU ACCREDITED TO ANY ORGANISATIONS?

Yes, we are members of NCASS (Nationwide Caterers Association). All our staff hold Food Level Hygiene certificates to level 2. We are registered with SLDC as a food business, where we received a 5 star hygiene award. We started trading in 2006. Some of our staff have previously worked in the hotel and restaurant trade, and all have received training in food production and front-of-house operations.
