Restaurant quality Thai cuisine at our ‘drive-thru’ takeaway on Dockray

In 2006, Thai Kitchen in Lakeland began catering for dinner parties at private homes and holiday cottages throughout Cumbria.

From that time our business expanded, and in 2016 we embraced the fledgling street food scene in Kendal and we began to cater at local and national events, focusing on Cumbria.

During 2020 we developed our takeaway service on Dockray at Unit 6. This exceeding our expectations and now has become Kendal’s thriving ‘drive-thru’ takeaway.

You can now also enjoy our food to eat-in on Tuesday to Thursday (5-9pm).

“Simply Stunning, don’t miss this gem of a place“

On a business trip passing through Kendal and decided to stop off at the Thai Kitchen for dinner, the reviews suggested that it was worth a visit. We weren’t disappointed, on arrival we didn’t realise they were only doing takeaway but we were invited in to eat as they are opening up for dining in next week.
What can I say a lovely couple and the food is so authentic, fresh and delicious. It’s a must go to place if you are in Kendal and love Thai food, don’t miss out! – Matt

I ordered via SMS and had immediate response. Food was ready on time, just drive up then pay and collect at the Beach Hut. The food quality and flavour was top notch and good value for money.
